Successful Intersolar for SUNfarming

2018, the SUNfarming group again took part in the world’s leading trade fair for the solar industry with a competent team.

The interest in our products and projects was as big as every year and our SUNfarmer have held many concrete discussions with local and international partners from Europe, Africa and Latin America in order to create projects and to further develop current projects. In addition, contacts with suppliers and banks as well as international financial institutions were expanded. Among others, DKB (Deutsche Credit Bank AG) and GLS (Community Bank EC), as well as the international banks FMO (Dutch Development Bank) and the World Bank subsidiary IFC visited our stand to look at the development of relations in the financing of German and International projects.

Franz Alt, a multi-award-winning journalist and author, was also a welcome guest at our booth. Many years of political commitment to the “Solar World Revolution” combine Franz Alt and Peter Schrum, SUNfarming founder and honorary president of the BRM (Federal Association for Regenerative Mobility e.v.).

A delegation of the Ministry of Energy of the Dominican Republic under the direction of Clemens Findeisen, GIZ project manager to promote the energy turnaround to achieve the climate goals in the Dominican Republic, informed himself in a conversation with Peter Schrum about The outstanding development policy possibilities of our product “SUNfarming Food & Energy”. The mayor of Hanoi and his economic delegation also showed great interest in this product.

“The SUNfarming has adapted its business model for Germany to the EEG 2017. We have been developing and building successfully 750kWp systems since the end of last year and will continue this 2018 with a volume of approx. 20MW. The already existing business model of own-power plants for trade and municipalities will also be further expanded in 2018, explains Martin Hinneburg, purchasing and sales service.

“We are very pleased with the Fair days! In addition to the existing customer care, we were able to establish many new contacts, which will be very helpful on the way to internationalization of the project business. We will be on Intersolar again next year, “said Martin Tauschke, SUNfarming co-founder and managing director.

SUNfarming GmbH plans bond issue

SUNfarming GmbH, an international specialist in the realisation of turnkey photovoltaic projects, is planning the issue of a corporate bond depending on the capital market environment.

At the beginning of the new financial year 2018, SUNfarming GmbH had reached a new record order backlog of EUR 24.5 million, which is an increase of 180 % in comparison to the same date in the preceding year. The objective for the next years is to enhance the revenue and the operating result. Therefore, the proceeds from a bond issue are intended to be used foremost for the realisation of new photovoltaic power plants in Germany and abroad as well as to optimise the debt capital structure.

For this purpose, the management has instructed BankM – Representative Office of FinTech Group Bank AG to organise a management roadshow. A potential securities prospectus would be published at www.sunfarming.de. “With the possible corporate bond we would like to optimise our financing options further and put our growth in Germany and abroad on a solid base,” explains Martin Tauschke, the Managing Director of SUNfarming GmbH.

Since its incorporation in 2004, SUNfarming GmbH has covered the full EPC value chain (engineering, procurement, construction) – from planning and development to financing and construction to monitoring and servicing of solar parks. The company has a long-standing customer base of capital investors, local authorities, users of commercial and private in-house electricity generation systems as well as property-holding sister companies belonging to the Schrum-Tauschke cooperation group.

The international team of experienced commercial staff, engineers and technicians has successfully installed a capacity of over 500 MWp. In addition SUNfarming provides technical operation for over 280 MWp in Germany and abroad to third party companies. The group track record is characterised by stable income from these activities and its EPC core business.
