2.5 ha of privileged agricultural photovoltaic systems

Privileged status in accordance with §35 BauGB, Para. 1, No. 9 and DIN SPEC for animal-friendly husbandry and organic cultivation of fruit and vegetables. One farm-related agrivoltaic system can be built per farm or farmstead.

Agri-PV Tierwohlanlagen

Privileged status in accordance with§35 BauGB, Para. 1, No. 9:

The agrivoltaic system enjoys privileges if it is spatially and functionally connected to the agricultural or horticultural business

  • the surface area of the special solar installation may not exceed 25,000 square metres
  • Only one system is permitted per farm or farm location

fulfilment of the DIN SPEC for crop production and animal husbandry:

  • agricultural use for profit under the system must be proven.

The SUNfarming Agri-PV concept offers both technical and planning advantages

Technical advantages:

  • Our solar projects utilise SUNfarming bifacial glass-glass modules for efficient energy generation and increased output. The patented rainwater distribution rail ensures even water distribution and serves as erosion protection, which promotes soil stability.
  • With substructures and foundation systems produced in Germany, we focus on quality and support the local economy. Our systems offer comprehensive protection against environmental influences and create safe habitats for plants and animals.
  • The partial shading promotes biodiversity, while the systems can be driven under and allow a 3 metre working width for mowing and mulching. With a photovoltaic output of over 1000 kWp/ha, we offer powerful and sustainable energy generation.
  • These projects combine innovative agriculture and renewable energy and demonstrate our commitment to sustainability and environmental protection.

Advantages in planning:

  • By maintaining agricultural status, we enable agricultural activities to continue on the land.
  • With only six months until planning permission is granted, we achieve efficient and rapid realisation of the solar projects.
  • Significant cost savings are realised through the integration of environmental assessments, which not only take ecological aspects into account, but also ensure the sustainable and economic success of the project.
