As every year, the interest in our products and projects has been great and our SUN farmers have had many concrete discussions with local and international partners from Europe, Africa and Latin America in order to initiate projects and to further develop current projects. In addition, contacts with suppliers and technical production partners and banks as well as international financing institutions were expanded. The DKB (Deutsche Kreditbank AG) and the ING Bank visited our stand, as well as the international banks FMO (Dutch Development Bank) and the World Bank subsidiary IFC, to discuss the development of relations in the financing of German and international projects of the SUNfarming Group.

Delegations, among others from Angola, Brazil and the Congo, learned in conversations with our expert project managers about the outstanding developmental possibilities of our product
"SUNfarming Food & Energy".

"The demand for on-roof PV systems for commercial and industrial plants with an installed capacity of less than 750 kWp has risen sharply. From December 2018 to February 2019, we completed 9.14 megawatts. Together with the ground-mounted systems with less than 750 kWp, we have a volume of approx. 20 MW in Germany alone, which we realized in our own investment in the last six months, "explains Martin Hinneburg, Head of Purchasing and Calculation.

Intersolar Europe, May 15-17, 2019

Intersolar Europe is the world’s leading exhibition for the solar industry and its partners and takes place annually at the Messe München exhibition center in Munich, Germany.

The event’s exhibition and conference both focus on the areas of photovoltaics, solar thermal technologies, solar plants, as well as grid infrastructure and solutions for the integration of renewable energy. Since being founded 28 years ago, Intersolar has become the most important industry platform for manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, service providers and partners of the solar industry.

The municipalities of Reisdorf, Wegleben, Wolmirsleben, Harzgerode, Hennickendorf and Zahna are committed to sustainability with the construction of solar energy systems, thus making a valuable contribution to a regional energy supply. The plants were partly completed in November or EEG compliant completed until 31th of decembre this year, the grid connection is a short time later.
Each 750 kWp plant supplies clean and green electricity for more than 240 households. The CO2 savings per plant are 440,000 kg / year, on average as many as 165 middle-class cars (8l / 100km) emit per year.

"Our range of investors spans the entire breadth, from project development to service and monitoring, all from one source. We have developed a unique quality assurance system for banks and investors. Our PV components are based exclusively on high-quality materials. In addition to the certification by the TÜV Rheinland and the Photovoltaikinstitut Berlin, SUNfarming experts for quality assurance check the module factories unannounced and monitor the production for all technical components according to a particularly strict system.
An average of 7% additional capacity from our systems over the past few years confirms the premium quality of our components, "explains Martin Tauschke, SUNfarming Managing Director.

Ostrołęka is located at the intersection of national roads from the center and from the south of Poland in the north-east direction. The city has a direct road connection with Warsaw, Olsztyn and Bialystok, from which it is about 120 km away. Ostrołęka is a municipality with 53,000 inhabitants.

The coal burning of the power plants in Ostrołęka has resulted in landfills for ash and slag. 4 megawatt SUNfarming free-field plants are currently being built on these former landfills, which have been fallow for 35 years. The use of landfill sites for the production of green electricity is at the same time a meaningful and sustainable reuse, valuable areas of arable land are spared. The facilities in Ostrołęka were fenced for protection. SUNfarming, with lease agreements limited to 29 years, also takes over the long-term care and safeguarding of landfills. Up to 40 fitters and technicians work at the same time on the construction site, planned completion date is 03 December 2018. These 4x1 MW are projects that have been awarded in the first auction round and must be on the net by 31.12.2018.

With the produced energy amount of 4 million kWh, SUNfarming saves CO2 emissions of approximately 2.20 million kilograms per year, which corresponds to the output of approx. 930 mid-range cars.The amount of energy produced in this way is enough to supply more than 1,600 2-person households in the region with clean electricity from solar energy.
